Afghanistan and Pakistan. by tucsonmike on 19 December 2010 8:34pm

Mr. P has been at the Afghan/Pakistan border but did not cross into Afghanistan. If we are going after bin Laden and Al Queda, the fight is in Pakistan, not Afghanistan.
We are not looking to conquer these places. (Reading Sun Tzu will tell you that is a mistake).
We are in the wrong war folks. Al Queda is in Yemen, in Somalia, in the tribal areas in Pakistan.

When I see reports, I wonder what happened to the "dentist" in Peshwar.
They don't call Afghanistan "the graveyard of empires" for nothing.

Are you talking about Mr.Amjad Ashraf, the dentist on University Road, in Peshawar?
He's still practising his art, but he had to shave his considerable beard off after a discreet visit one afternoon from the Taliban.
