London Calling...sorry about the double post by gumby on 14 February 2014 3:19am

I am traveling to London this July (1st) for the Python show (got tickets to the 4th), any one else going to that show that might be interested in getting together? Would love to meet some fellow Python fans.

Oops sorry for the double post...

I have tickets for the second batch of shows (15th and 18th).

How long will you stay in London?

I will be in London on the 2nd (early afternoon
) and fly home on the 10th. I am very excited to see the Pythons. I have met Eric and Michael and saw Johns one man divorce payoff tour, but to see all five together and peforming classic Python is a dream come true.

I bought ticket to see the July 20th show :D
it's the last show so probably laid back. Any one know if there're places to see near O2? I am not very adventurous, and it's the first time i go to London.

Greenwich itself is not too far away. Lots of to see there, for example, the Cutty Sark, the Royal Naval College, a lovely market. You can go by boat from the Embankment to Greenwich to make it more interesting and when you have finished at Greenwich you can take a boat to the O2.

Also, Jan, there are lots of restaurants in the O2 and The British Music Experience. Here is the link for that:

I don't have tickets but as I said elsewhere I'll wait for a DVD of the show (if they do one).

Mr. Palin is touring after the python shows. You have plenty of chance to meet him. I wonder if he would come to the states?
Suzulu, thanks for the info, I can't wait to see the show!

I've just logged on to the site to see Michael is doing a tour of the UK. I'm in London and so hope to go and see one of the two shows available here...... can't wait.
