The Chatter Box : Blathering On

The Planets. by Ken Dunn on 11 June 2019 10:25pm

Here in the UKsome of us are watching a TV series on our solar system and tonight professor Brian Cox was doing a piece to camera about the extensive volcanic activity on Io, Jupiters inner moon. The director had put prof. Cox in a setting alongside an erupting volcano (probably Etna) and I've never seen a reporter so apprehensive while delivering his part to camera. There were loud bangs and plumes of white hot lava being ejected into the air during the delivery - a brave man and a bit of quite sensational directing! I suppose Mr P had some scary scenes to do for his travel programmes but I can't say I remember or noticed them.
