Do you mean to say that MP is home and completed the journey that the BBC said would take 6 months MP started in May - so shouldnt have finished til November - are you sure you have got the right Tom>>??? I would have thought that MP would still be out filming???

Wow, this must be the week for meeting celebrities! Kaz and I were fortunate enough to attend a banquet hosted by Eddie McGuire on Saturday night. Anyone who's anyone was there, it was absolutely amazing! Phil was the Emcee and Audrey was a guest singer. Her rendition of 'Tiptoe through the Tulips' was absolutely divine! Sam and Trevor were on our table so we were in hysterics for most of the evening, as you can probably imagine! We were able to bid for Hank Bulger at the charity bachelor auction but needless to say he was way out of our price range! Kaz and I were lucky enough to pick up some smaller prizes though, namely some shelving from Mitre 10 and a 3AW Dine Out Guide. I'm still on cloud nine from this wonderful evening!! We could have danced all night... and we did!!

Cheers,
Michelle :)

It was indeed a fantastic night out...my ribs are still aching at the utter hilarity of Sam and Trevor! I was extremeny envious of Michelle though as she scored THREE dances with Sam! How Do you do it girl???
I should mention the food too, real gourmet stuff prepared by Ian Hewittson and Ian Parmenter..just mouth watering.
The highlight was , of course, the photos we had taken with Audrey, and Phil and Bruce...Bruce's lap is QUITE comfy don't you think Michelle??? I have blisters on blisters from all the dancing but it was worth every minute!!!

Absolutely, but I prefer Phil myself. He is the perfect gentleman! Oh Kaz, tell the story about Bert and Patti. That's a classic!!

David,
How cool is that!!!
Tell more.. Tom sounds like a friendly, personable guy to chat with you and give you lots of info on his father's latest venture. Just as n*** as his dad, I suppose? :)

Thanks for the info Tom. Tell your dad to check in with us...

Speaking of gyms, I just got new insurance that partially reimburses my membership to a gym. That is way cool, too. Got to get rid of the saddlebags.
Off topic? Moi?

Re: Meeting Michaels Son by Dianne on 15 August 2003 8:55pm

Perhaps when the BBC said 6 months they were also including the part where you go through all of the film they created and put it together to make six 1 hour episodes.

One reporter said that Tom was exactly like his father, but quieter.

Three dances with Sam, Missy? Hmmm . . .
