Here, There or Everywhere? by Haligon-Hillary on 21 November 2003 1:33am

Hey,
I need a little help. Am considering an exchange next year to get away from regular university life, see something new, and gain some braging rights. But where to go? My options are England, Senegal or New Zealand.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
p.s. incidentally, I am listening to Highway to Hell as I write this

Go to new Zealand! No wait, go to Senegal! No, um, go to England!
Geez, what a tough choice!
I would choose NZ because I want to meet my kiwi Palinite buddies. but gol dang it, I would want to meet my English Palinites, too... and the Palinites living in Senegal!
ugh. Good luck.
try posting on the travel thread, too...
:)
Helen

try putting on some Deep Purple next. That will help.

Put on Crowded House (Kiwi), then play Coldplay(ever so English) then finally put on a Youssou N'dour(Senegalese) c.d and go to the country of which ever album you like the most.:-)

Normally, I'd say go to NZ...it's close to Australia and me :)

However, Mike lives in London, which is closer to England...it is IN england....

I'm at University College London, so London comes highly recommended from me! Senegal sounds good, but only if you speak fluent French and can understand the heavy accent and dialects. New Zealand is beautiful, but I don't know if I would want to spend too long there. I think watchng too much Shortland Street has coloured my vision of the place. No, London must come top of the pile.
