Has anyone won anything from Palin's Travels? by Izot on 31 January 2004 8:10am

I'm waiting for my book and T-shirt to come in from the latest competition... how do you know if you've won? How long's the waiting period? What have you won? Why do I want to type "one" all the time instead of "won"?

What's the meaning of Life?

So today is the last day for entering the Himalaya competition. Wonder who the lucky winners will be this time...

Hopefully Webmaster will be quick off the mark in posting the names of the winners. It would also be interesting to know how many people entered the competition and how many got all the correct answers. That way we'll know what we're up against next time

Well, I'm still waiting, Britain can't be that far behind... by Izot on 2 February 2004 6:49am

I answered four out of four too, but I cheated - oh well, they don't know it...

Well, they do now, but that's not the point.

Diamond - what's a nuffink? Is it like Mirth? "Mirth? What are giving him that for, it might bite him!" =D

Hello Izot,

In regards to competitions, we always send out prizes immediately upon receiving a response to the emails we send confirming a winner's email address.

However, we haven't received an email from you confirming your email or postal address. In order for us to process your prize, please could you respond to the email we sent you, including your postal address (so that we can send you your prize[s])?

If and when you do respond to the email, can you be sure to include the initial email confirmation we sent you to help us keep accurate records?

Sincere thanks - we look forward to hearing from you.

Webmaster

Cheers Webmaster. Looked at the competition site today and sulked even more - I didn't win! Man, I was "so" hanging out for a production shirt... oh well, there's always next time. I haven't entered any other competitions (one gets the feeling one gave the wrong impression...) apart from the Himalaya one, or maybe I should have said I did and scored something free.....

Better not. =D
