India and maps by Rudi on 13 January 2003 11:10pm

Hi everybody,

1999 and 2000 where two great years for me. For my job as a software engineer I had to spent several months in Bangalore, India. During this period, I spent most of my weekends traveling arround Bangalore, finding - thanks to the native taxi drivers - lots of 'hidden pearls' of Karnataka. As a pasionate photographer, I took heaps of nice pictures, especialy landscapes and wildlife. There was only one drawback... I did not have any detailed maps. Surely, I had a Lonely Planet or two, and I did get lots of information from the ever helpfull locals, but detailed maps, there where none. As I am trying to 'reconstruct' my day and weekend trips in some kind of travel log, I realy would like the help of detailed maps. Can anyone point me to a good source?

Regards,
Rudi
