Live Chat on RSPMP site Friday-Saturday 7 & 8th by Piglet2 on 3 February 2003 1:45pm

For those new to the chatterbox and those of us who have posted on another link - chat programs - thought it would be better to start a new link so that people dont miss out

I assume the live chat will be on the RSPMP convention site and 8pm uk time

if there is anything different please post to this thread and any details of the website for those who are new and might like to join in.

Thanks Lyn. :O)

There was a bit of confusion over the time changes, but these times SHOULD be correct and up-to-date for the chat next FRIDAY the 7th (Sat the 8th for those of you "down under").

US: 12PM Pacific/3PM Eastern

UK: 8PM

NZ: 9AM

What's the time difference from NZ to Australia?

I'm sorry that the chat is so early for New Zealanders and Australia, but making it any later makes it difficult for some European Palinites. :Oo

Australia (EST) is 2 hours behind New Zealand's time, I think. Hence, I will have to be up around 7am on Saturday morning to participate in the chat! *LOL*

Sorry!!! LOL!

It's so difficult with everyone living everywhere around the world!

No worries, Mary. I realise that it's hard to co-ordinate a chat when people are living in different countries and time zones. But I'll do my best to stop by and catch up with everyone!

Can we haev a topic so that we can prepare what we say to each other

Introductions and then about meeting michael etc?

this will be good practice for when the palins travel site has a chat room - did everyone get the e mail from the webmaster about it?

see you all on friday uk time

Can we have a topic so that we can have an idea of what to ask each other that way there will be no pauses etc - get the questions ready i.e
after Introductions talk about meeting michael etc?

this will be good practice for when the palins travel site has a chat room - did everyone get the e mail from the webmaster about it?

see you all on friday uk time

I got the e-mail. It's a great idea to give everyone a practice run. Pity I can't make it though. Work issues. I can only go 'on-line' when I'm home. Hope you all enjoy it though. Have fun!

I was wondering if anyone was going to mention the email.

I was at school today, early in the morning, with just a few minutes left before I had to drag myself to the first class of the day - Philosophy.
I thought I'd check my email real quick and there was that wonderful suprise - an email from the Webmaster and Michael in my inbox!

Or, rather, three. ;O)

But more on that later. :O)

As for assigned topic, doesn't matter to me - you guys can choose, as I likely won't be there. But just a note for those who haven't went to one before: in the past the participants have all been rather active members of the board who all know each other already. So I'm not sure if the "introductions" will be necessary. Some of us haven't had the pleasure of meeting Michael yet, but it still sounds like an interesting topic to discuss and share! I'd be game if I show up. :O)
