Fridge Magnets by pammybabe on 23 February 2003 5:26am

Hi there.

I've noticed that there are a few stamp collecters here. I know this sounds a bit sad, but I'm a fridge magnet collecter , my ambition to collect f magnets from around the world. Anyone interested in swopping for ones from Scotland?

Pam, my neighbor collects fridge mags too. So don't feel odd about your hobby.
Her fridge door is so covered, it's almost obliterated. However, she collects from places she's been. Some are very interesting, I must admit!

What happens when you have no more room on your fridge? Do you buy another one or just set up metal panels?

HI, I collect fridge magnets as well, there are so many now, I also keep them on my central heating boiler in the kitchen, boilers aren't to nice to look at any way......

My Favourite has to be my Kennedy Space Centre logo, I bought it the day we visited the Space Centre which was the day the Mars Space Probe was launched..Fantastic , captured it in the video, we also met Bob Crippen who was co-pilot on the first space shuttle launch which spookily enough was launched on the day of our engagement, mant moons ago.. I love anything to do with space you can tell!!!!!
I have been very fortunate to have travelled to quite a few world countries collecting many magnets on the way, which is why I couldn't part with many of them...

Another is a really cute pair of fridge maganet slippers from Turkey, complete with pom poms ahhhhhh....
I have a very rude one given to me by my best friend it is a male p*^%s which is kept in the drawer, for obvious reasons!!!!!
Love peace and polar forces Phyll

I have got magnets that reflect my life
with sayings such as

I would be unstopppable if only I could get started

You cant scare me -- I have children

You can look at my dust but please dont write in it

Of all the things I have lost its my mind I miss the most

you know when you re getting older when happy hour is a nap!

i finally got it all together then I forgot where I put it!

Where words fail music speaks

at least if there is nothing edible in the fridge it makes it interesting to read the front door!

LOL

I don't really collect fridge magnets, but I felt I must brag that I have two Python magnets. One has the "Upper-Class Twits" on it, and I can't find the other one, so I can't remember what's on it.
