Pledge by Robron on 15 October 2006 4:49pm

Join with me in a promise to ignore all postings coming from the keyboard of King Michael 1. He will respond to this posting, likely claiming that he has a great sense of humour and I do not. But if he is ignored, he will go away and this website will be a better place as a result.

Hear Hear! Well said, Robron!

Sorry, I am the worst offender at replying to him!!

He just makes me so mad!

I'm with you, Robron! It's all right, Anne, I'm just as guilty as the next person at giving in. He ruffles a lot of feathers around here.

Guilty, too.

Feh.

I just have way too much fun mocking...

But, if it's for the good of my beloved community. ;) I certainly won't give him the dignity of a reply.

I join with my friends here. How do you know they're kings anyway?

Oh king is it? How nice...

Go get 'em Layne, Queen of Chocolate!

Re: Pledge by MayaV on 16 October 2006 10:29pm

I really thought it's none of my business to comment on the increasing intolerance towards King Michael 1, since I'm new on the site and you all guys kind of know each other.
But:
I read all the posts and to be honest, I didn't notice him insulting anyone. And since this website is open to everyone, isn't it possible for people to be more tolerant and show a little more respect to each other?
Being tolerant is a basic principle in a world full of violence and rage, otherwise we're all lost.
Of course, King Michael's just an example. Even if he's a troll, well, everyone's allowed to use the site, right? If not, there are private clubs, but I presume that Mr Palin himself is not the biggest fan of the closed-elit- communities.
With very best regards,
Maya

You are correct, Maya. And you are free to read King Michael's postings--or anyone else's--and respond to them if you wish. However, if you have read through King Michael's postings you will know that he has but one goal: to provoke others and elicit a response. Sadly, in starting this post I have fallen into his trap. But I hope that my original message will be heeded and that as a result, King Michael will disappear from this website. You can read Michael's postings if you want, but I do not because I think that he is an idiot.
