Travel book recommended: for Palinites in USA by geordiegirl on 16 January 2007 4:27pm

I was struck by your post i think Andrea suggesting Michael should do small towns of USA. I'd just like to recommend a superb book on this subject - probably well known to most of you - "The Lost Continent - Travels in Small Town America" by Bill Bryson, an American anglophile who now lives in UK. It's a wonderful book - he writes so well and is so funny.
I know this site isn't for him - he probably has his own, though I've never checked - and I do want to say how terrific the first volume of Michael's Diaries is. More, please - how about another volume 1980-1990 for Christmas this year, 2007. Michael?
