Speaking of Cats... by tucsonmike on 13 December 2007 2:36am

Yerbie has used up seven of his nine lives. He messed with the Christmas stuff. I had to save his remaining two lives. Now, he is peacefully sitting with me.
I am trying to reinvent some of his lives like Dr. Who.

Don't limit him with human superstition, Mike! Maybe cats can evade the Grim Reaper more than 8 times. But not if it's Elaine that wanted to end him for tamering with her Christmas stuff...

I lost one of the best cats in the world this summer. He had been family with me for 17 years. He had a number of lives, in some senses, still it broke my heart quite thoroughly. He was a very determined little guy, he didn't want to leave... I wish they lived longer!

In my experience cats to tend to be very causious about their lives. Except when they are hit by the car (ended the life of one of our cats...). Our Pörri is now 13 years, she doesn't have a tail and apparently attacks socks. I miss her so much and will se her in a week! I hope she never goes to meet her maker (should I write to John Cleese and tell him to tell the Grim Reaper to stay away from her?).
