Scottish Historical Question. by tucsonmike on 20 December 2007 1:20am

We have a book called The Social History of the Scots-Irish. My question? Why was England constantly invading Scotland? It seemed so much poorer and not worth the effort or was it just royal greed for folks such as Edward I.

Or perhaps they couldn't work out why Finlay Currie played the role of Balthasar with a Scottish accent in "Ben Hur"?
