The Man Who Killed Don Quixote by hamletdance21 on 25 September 2008 4:26am
Has anyone heard whether Mr. Palin will accept the part of Don Quixote in Gilliam's upcoming film, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote? I've noticed on the web that this is possible. I'm incredibly intrigued and hopeful that he will do this part.
Thanks, Piper

Hello Piper from Fla.! Do you often post on palin?
You say Gilliam's film is 'upcoming',but I'm sure you know that this film project was initialy commenced in 2000,with Jean Rochefort in the title role. However, there were so many mishaps during initial filming that Gilliam abandoned it,and the story about the mishaps was recounted in the 2002 Documentary:"Lost In La Mancha",which I watched.
This time around,I have no idea who will play Quijote. I don't think they have decided yet,and it is only a rumour that it will be Michael Palin, and I have not yet heard Michael express his views on the subject.
