Last prank with Sarah Palin? by geordiegirl on 3 November 2008 5:23pm

You guys in US (and Canada) have probably heard this one a week ago, but it seems a Canadian comic arranged a phone call with her people, rang her up & said he was Nicholas Sarkozy.

Apparently she never twigged, even when the conversation got bizarre - eg. 'Sarkozy' - 'I can see Belgium from my house' and 'My wife Carla is really hot in bed' and 'the Canadian prime Minister, Johnny Halliday'

- this sort of anecdote I shall miss, but you guys won't!

I thought this was very funny! She probably thought she had to be polite to a head of state she'd never met in person.

Yeah,I too thought this was very amusing, but then I have always had a soft spot for hoaxers,as long as they aren't being wilfully malicious.
Does it prove that Sarah Palin is even dumber than she looks? Did she REALLY think she was talking to Nicolas Sarkozy, the French President? Or,in true-to-form George W.Bush fashion, did she not have the faintest idea who the hell he was?

She was probably wracking her brain..."Sar Cosy, Sar Cosy; where have I heard that name before? I think Mr. Cheney mentioned him in my training sessions. Oh well, better be polite, just in case." LOL!

The prankster,French-Canadian Marc-Antoine Audette, kept his nerve and took some risks to get the responses he wanted. He must have been speaking to Sarah in English(I'm not aware that Mrs.Palin speaks French),but he told her at one point that 'my wife Carla has written a song about you',which mentioned "rouge a levres sur le cochon",which translates as "lipstick on a pig" ! LOL

We'll see. We had record voter turnout. I didn't have to wait, but I saw news reports of 3-hour waits or more, and long lines of people waiting to vote. With 10% of precincts reporting, it appears McCain has taken Kentucky, and Obama has taken Vermont. With only 4% of precincts reporting, Indiana is still a tossup.

It ain't over till it's over, Miss Piggy!

There were two popele at the sign in desk with 4 judges there. And there were 4 people voting with 10 voting machines. SO I didn't wait either. Was in and out in about 4 minutes, hhhhmmmmm. maybe 5! lol.

mrsthing:Indiana was one of the last states to declare:Obama WINS Indiana, overturning George W.Bush's 60/39% majority in 2004,and turning this state blue for the first time since Lyndon B.Johnson's landslide victory in 1964.Fantastic result.

Obama MAKES history: Sarah Palin IS history! MICHAEL Palin can come out of hiding now and resume his old identity without continually looking over his shoulder.
