Yeah, a spineless "HOLIDAY" message will likely be the next one. Hope it's not a HOLIDAY message. Rather, he could say Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever other celebration falls right now. I hate it when people who avoid using the specific in this regard.

Just find the airfare and you can have a 'free' holiday with us.
The big guy sleeps in the garage along with me though....not along with me...just alongside me, bad boys together...and if he ain't bad yet, I'll teach him.

*is lost*
Is it really so ....ing important how to call this period in year ? Holiday, Christmas, Green Cheese ? Official Russian so called Christmas is 7th January, but so what, I don't give a toss about it, I don't celebrate it and neither I celebrate Catholic Xmas.
And we do have hols from 1 to 10 January !
So for me it is indeed a holiday season.

I am an atheist and have been since early teens, but I STILL insist on calling it Christmas (or usually Xmas).

Calling it 'Holiday' (maybe should be Holly-day?!!) is PC gone mad. The only reason it is supposedly 'better' in this country to say 'Happy Holiday' is so that we do not offend people of other religious beliefs!! How stupid!! They are NOT offended!

I am not offended if someone wishes me happy diwali for example (when working in Youth and Community I had a Diwali card from a Youth Worker - and I can tell you I was not offended in the least but happy to share in their enjoyment.)

I or rather WE have received Christmas cards from our muslim friends in Turkey saying HAPPY CHRISTMAS and only yesterday we had a muslim Turkish friend wish us Happy 'Cristmas' on Facebook (his spelling!).

As I said at the beginning of this I am an atheist BUT all this PC rot makes me want to buy the most religious cards I can find with Happy CHRISTMAS on and send them to the mindless idiots that think up these things.
:(
