Mrs. Teabag needs your help by mrsteabag on 4 January 2010 3:20pm

Gentle Palinites, I need assistance in getting completing a novel that I have been ditzing with for nearly four years. I am requesing help in two ways:
1. For those of you who live in the UK, I need some help with making sure that I have my locations straight (ie, not putting a day care center in Soho).
2.I need to have, shall we say, gentle reminders and requests for updates on my progress via email.
In turn, you will get my undying gratitude, a thank you on the acknowledgements page, and when it sees the light of day, a copy, as well as a hug when we meet in person. Thank you.

Well of course we'll help but I may be more than useless because:

a) I am hopeless with geography and may well misinform you.

b) My own novel has been languishing alone and desolate in the depths of the hard drive for about 2 years.

;)

Mrs Teabag, I may be able to help regarding locations in UK.

Good luck with your novel!

I think that a daycare centre in Soho would be ace. The kids could learn how to draw pictures of transvestites.

@Spursfan--Anne, c'mon, sweetie, we both need to get these done. I'll do what I can in terms of feedback, etc.
@suzulu--You live in London, right? Where would one find 1.an art gallery, 2. the townhouse of a rockstar,3.and the flat of a rockstar who had been a teacher but never got around to finding a new place because of the overwhelmingly fast rise to fame?
@bIG--check your email, please
@kazz--interesting way to teach about alternative lifestyles. Reward yourself with creme eggs, please.

Well, Mrs. Teabag,

1. A few art galleries - National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, Tate Britain on Millbank, Tate Modern on Bankside, SE1, National Portrait Gallery in St. Martins Place, around the corner from Trafalgar Square, the Wallace Collection in Manchester Square near Oxford Street.

2. A rock star may well have a townhouse in Highgate or Hampstead (Sting used to have a house in Highgate!).

3. Have to think about that one! Could be anywhere!

This novel sounds interesting!

A fair few rock stars have townhouses in Notting Hill as well. And massive ones in Holland Park.
