Daydreamer!! by Spursfan on 16 February 2010 3:59pm

Having sent off part of my book to a publisher, I have spent hours imagining it went into print - and then onto the big screen !! Eeeeek! (Apologies here to Mike!)

It is sort of autobiographical (won't go into it here!) and so I have spent time wondering who would play ME!!

I would love to say Helena Bonham Carter - I think she's fab, and she's probably my favourite actress (can you say 'actress' now?!!) - but I think it would be someone like Kate Winslet or even Victoria Wood!! But I think Kate would be great.

Now the husband. Well of course Brad wouldn't be right (too blond) and sadly (sniff) not the right sort of role for JD. It would have to be someone dark as the husband is half Indian - Art Malik? Or even Daniel Day Lewis or Ralph Fiennes?

Or how about that bloke in Casualty - he'd be great. (Tristan Gemmill who plays Adam). Yes. He'd be good. In fact he'd be perfect.

SEE WHAT I MEAN ABOUT DAYDREAMER ??!!

Will keep you informed.

Kate..er sorry..Anne

Ohh...good luck, Anne! Nothing wrong with a little game of casting call. If my novel gets made into a movie, I want Craig Ferguson, Hugh Laurie, Gabriel Byrne and Liam Nisson as the leads. I also have suitable roles in mind for Stephen Fry and Sir Patrick Stewart. Maybe see if we could coax John Cleese out of retirement.
ANy thoughts on who'd play Tosun? ;)

LOL I do this kind of thing all the time. Recently, I've been doing it for Lemony Snicket characters (there's been talk of a sequel for about five years!) Alan Cumming as Charles FTW!!
