MICHAEL PALIN by Louise on 17 June 2003 4:04am
Am I the only person who would like to discuss Michael Palin here on his website ?

I also enjoy discussing Michael Palin. He's neat.

Has anyone read Michael's play 'The Weekend'? If so, what do you think of it?

Hi Lou - no you are not the only one -= it is Michael that brought us all together - or our admiration for him and all that is Michael!!

Please excuse our looniness while MP is currently working on another series, and is so far away from us!!

Awww Tony, I`m really dismayed at your rather rude comments, that`s not like you :-(

I`ve been posting here for months, reading just about every thread, and we used to discuss MP a lot more than we do now.

Is it so "boring" of me to wonder why we seem to be veering off onto so many unrelated topics these days?!

..agreement there....the blathering is sometimes a bit (well, a HUGE bit) off the Palin mark. perhaps it is partly because the participants are so young and school is out! and I think that "the Weekend" is available at amazon.co.uk. or at least it was altho' I didn't buy it at the time. hope all is well with His Looniness off in the high mountains...perhaps he is on his way home now and we shall hear from him soon!

Lou - I am sure tony did not mean to be rude - it is difficult to interpret the written word at times.

It is better to keep the Palin community together with something - even if it is creme eggs!! - while Michael is braving the highs and lows of the Himalyas on our behalf - brave person that he is, bless his cotton socks! - than for us to drift away altogether from this brill site, until Michael is back at book signings again. Is it 2004 yet??
