A Palinite's Nightmare by Rusted on 7 December 2002 8:02am

So I had my Palinite's Dream already. The nightmare was bound to crop up soon.

As some of you may remember, I'm still in the process of seeing many of Michael's travel serieses. (Is that a word?)

It's taken me forever to see 80 Days because I reserved it from another library ages ago and it JUST came in early this week. I was overjoyed to be able to begin watching it, especially as I've been reading a bit in the corresponding book.

But I reserved it and watched it only to find out that the two tapes I had in the package only got me through about Day 28 of his trip...

Confused, I went to my library's website to find out if maybe there were other volumes of the series. Only to find out that the little package I ahd was part of a set of five different journeys made by five different people.

What?!? Help! This cannot be...I've got to see the rest of the trip, now!

I suppose someone is trying to say something to me..."Mary, you need to break down and buy some of Michael's travel shows." Yes, alright, fine.

;O) (It's late at night, sorry!)

Mary, i know your pain!
My mum is a valuable source when concering MP travel vids, (think she likes him!), so i wathed 80days from the cupbored.
watched first tape, then, shock horror! second tape was blank!
so, ive only seen 1/2 of ir too!
my advise, find a decent place to rent it, or beg and beg for it as an xmas prezzie!

Mary and little-peep,
Oh, dear, what a nightmare for you both. I hope you soon will get the chance to see all of 80 days. Bad enough when you can't see any of it, but being teased by a little and not able to see the rest. What agony! How about some Devonshire Cream Teas to help you over this bad patch? :-) Or Chocolate Fudge cake, I'm very good at making that, it is one of my specialities. I'm known far and wide for my Chocolate Fudge cake. :-) How far and how wide is debatable.

Rent it - I wonder if video stores around here would have it available. I sure hope so, and I wouldn't say there isn't any possibility of it being available.

So we'll check and see. (All one of me.)

Dianne, that's what I said - I almost would rather have not seen any of it than to have gotten a taste of some sweet cake only to have the rest of my piece stolen. ;O)

But then again, I won't complain for getting to see what I did!

I'm not much of a tea person, Dianne, but I'd never pass up an offer for chocolate! Hee hee...

Thanks for consoling words, both of you.

Dianne, i would say you would be known wider AFTER having consumed the cake! LOL.
Very true about teasing...still, can't complain.....still got to see pole 2 pole and full circle!
