Add one "pod" of Palinites and puree for 10 minutes. That will stir things up, but good!

For newer Palinites, we used to refer to ourselves collectively as a pod.

Guilty as charged. I usually digress if something tickles a dormant part of my brain, and there are LOTS of those! I'll try to be more considerate, but I don't intend to hijack a thread when I do it--I just intend to make an aside to one person, but then other people have things to say, and pretty soon, the thread has digressed. If only we could PM on this fourm, the problem would be solved!

Well like I said if we don't digress there will bunch of threads that die a death after a few posts.
Oh yes PM's would be great. Does anyone here use the chatroom much? I haven't checked it for ages.

Its part of the recipe for stirring....
PM....Plum Marmalade... nice on lightly buttered toast......

Well,I enjoy stirring music,as well....I would recommend Gilbert and Sullivan's "THE GONDOLIERS"; or anything played by the Band Of The Grenadier Guards;or any large Gospel Choir ensemble, such as Hezekiah Walker And The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir, from Montgomery,Alabama....

..Plum marmalade is a rather sticky subject, isn't it,but undoubtedly we need MORE Plum marmalade in this forum, but LESS Herberts who can't stick to the subject under review:there is simply no excuse.

The best Stirring Music in all G & S is the Peer's March from 'Iolanthe', bB (personal view).

Not so keen on brass bands, big (ie big brass bands, not the salutation!), in concert venues but like them small & live.

My husband sang in Iolanthe I remember - it was a college production.

He was a Peer.

I think he's been in some other productions too but I particular remember Iolanthe.
