LOL! Sue & Kazzzz...I think the maon 'revelations' are out in the open: the resignations are starting to happen - from all parties.

Certainly the expenses system needs to be overhauled - amazing it hasn't been for so long - independently audited, etc. - that will start to happen. A genuinely reforming Speaker like John Bercow would help that process along.

In the midst of this I had to laugh at Paul Merton on 'Have I Got News for You' (one of my favourite progs).

Discussing the resignation of the Speaker, he said something on the lines of "you'd have thought in this day and age the Commons would have TWO speakers wouldn't you! You know, stereo." !

HAHAHAHAHAHA !

LOL, Anne!! I have given up on HIGNFY, I just can't take Hislop any more. But Paul Merton....! Every time the right note struck. WHAT a comedy god, eh?

Yep. And I miss Angus Deyton on it - however I haven't a prob with Ian Hislop actually.

Its definitely a programme where you find yourself literally laughing out loud!!
