There was a young man from Nantucket,
Whose clothes didn't chime,
Like the words of this rhyme,
At the end of the day he said....stuff this. ;)

Listen Loretto, if a wee fashion faux pas is his worst fault, then you're doin' fine.

I hope you let him know that I'm doing my best to make him famous/infamous.

I'll stick to me jeans and blue shirts even with the....erm, expanding waistline.

Am I missing something here?? ..Does this have slight echoes of all the previous stick which poor Tucsonmike had to take,on account of him wearing RED braces??

We are not wholly bad or good
Who live our lives under Milk Wood,
And Thou,I know, wilt be the first
To see our best side, not our worst.

O let us see another day!
Bless us this holy night,I pray,
And to the sun we all will bow
And say goodbye--but just for now.

IF YOU WANT TO POST POETRY DO IT HERE Tootsie

This is where your poem belongs, read the title of each thread

The thorns and the roses

Mary, there is no one to believe? Mary,
Mary, Mary, is weeping bitterly,
Mary this is your first loss,
Mary, stop crying
Life is such a thing, Mary.
Mary, where is the poetry and there is the prose
Mary, where are the thorns there are the roses
And there is the guitar and wine
And the guys are waiting for you long ago.
