Final will be Netherlands and Brazil with Brazil winning.
I wanted France to win, but that is so not happening now...

The English should take some comfort from looking at the French ! At the end of the day, England have to win a game of football tomorrow which is well within their capabilities.
Players used to be so proud to 'play for the jersey' both in Scotland and in England, now they are overpaid and spoilt.

Amazing how quiet the Turks were about the World Cup when we were there!! Yes they watched it and it was on in the bars etc but no excitement from them!! It is so strange - the Turks go ABSOLUTELY BONKERS over footie usually, pipping horns etc if they win a game.

I suppose we would be the same if we were not in the competition....

Sour grapes,then.

I've watched almost every game even though Scotland aren't in it.
I've almost done myself an injury though, through watching En-ger-land's 'performances'. I'm prepared to split my sides by watching them again tomorrow though.

Slovenia 1 - 2 England
USA 1 - 0 Algeria
Australia 2 - 0 Serbia
Ghana 0 - 3 Germany

Re: World Cup Predictions by Spursfan on 23 June 2010 11:24am

Slovenia 0 (they're very sloven-ly you know)- 10 England

Bit too optimistic, d'ya reckon??? Not as we have Defoe playing, and Crouch, Lennon and Dawson are all there so could be subs!! (All Spurs players for the uninitiated)

:)

Yes,but why has Capello been playing Crouch only for the last quarter-of-an-hour? This just beggars belief! Why not bring him on at the very beginning, because Crouch is a proficient all-round player.
