It's great lying in the sun with the sore feet dangling off the end of the lounger and the hot sun penetrating the legs.

There I was crawling around the garden on my hands and knees with the weight off my feet doing a bit of weeding. I use a heavy long bladed screwdriver for removing the roots of the perennials and with the ground quite hard the blade came off the handle. To fix it I put the blade back in the handle slot, grabbed the handle and hit the back of the handle on the ground. The base of thick blade caught a chunk of my right index finger between the handle and nearly nipped the whole chunk out of my finger. Ouch! It never rains but it pours! I have had to dress it twice since the injury about 5 hours ago to stop the blood oozing out of it.
I'm trying negative therapy on my feet (using them more) to see if the aches ease up.
Got a new pair of badminton shoes today to replace the ones which had burst and although the season had finished in early May I'm ready for next season with a new pair of court shoes.

Still on the negative therapy I've done one of my longer walks today with no significant increase in the discomfort so I'll try a couple of games of badminton on Friday to see what the effect is.

Sounds like you're on the mend, you'll be ready to walk on hot coals by the weekend ;)

My feet sometimes feel like I've been walking on hot coals even though I haven't! Played a bit of a game called short tennis today and my feet were sore afterwards but not seriously so.

If your hand injury is anything like it sounds, Ken, I'd see a doctor. Might need a tetanus shot, a stitch and even an antibiotic. Be vigilant with that finger!

peri., I had it covered on Friday while playing 'short tennis' and it is healing very well and having just taken the latest plaster off it I'm sure it will be OK uncovered now. I'm a great believer in Savlon for cuts.
The feet are uncomfortable but I'm hoping the podiatrist can advise a remedy.

Oh, I'm happy to hear your finger is doing so well.
