Hello Ken. Yes it's snowing a lot, my stamps won't stick to the envelopes. Have you a solution for this?

Go and Buy some new stamps! ..This time,don't stick 'em on your envelopes in the middle of a raging blizzard!

That's not a dipstick, it's my mighty lance.

Okay,if you say so,Sir Lances-Eggs-A-Lot.

Poetry:
Juliet says:--

<<..I saw his dipstick in the moonlight,and that was on a Saturday night;
And -- oh,my!--did I get a fright!..>>

"Romeo and Juliet",by William Shakes-his-spear,Act 3 ; Scene 2.

mrsthing:you are right to say that "P.J." are the correct initials of my REAL name.

But,the one-who-commenced-this-thread's initials are more likely to stand for "positively jacked-off".Besides,I happen to resent being referred to as a "planite"....what "planite" is this chap living on? (..sigh from the real Michael Palin)

Re: Talk to me.. im bored by Sir Eggsalot on 2 February 2009 2:28pm

A Plainite is a Palinite who's not got a cream filling or chocolate coating. Sort of like a digestive as opposed to a Penguin.

Re: Talk to me.. im bored by suzulu on 2 February 2009 2:43pm

Ha ha haaa, Sir Eggsalot! Wot, no chocolate? A Plainite has to earn his/her right to be a Palinite, that is, be covered in chocolate!

Aye, Sir Eggsalot, when mint stamps get wet, stick together, and dry out before use it is difficult to make them serviceable again. Soak them in water until they separate, dry them off on blotting paper or kitchen roll and when dry use a Pritt stick to apply an effective fresh coat of gum. A book or folded sheets of stamps in a damp pocket could become wet this way before use. If this solution is too footery then as bb says, go and buy some new stamps - difficult when there is a blizzard outside.

Don't give me Gibbons, 't'aint funny no more. Dad gave me a ticket to Aussie for my 21st birthday,a quarter of a century ago. The stamp collector boyfriend travelled with me and relied on selling his stamps.
He was fine, he still had a Penny something at home.
To this day, I'm NOT into philately.
