John has turned down a CBE, not a knighthood, and Michael accepted his CBE, not MBE. Anyway, my guess is that they'll get it about the same time. Or perhaps John will get it sooner.

Norman Wisdom was knighted, ....but when he was about 120 years old.

So I think the powers-that-be will wait as long as possible and give it to the last survivor when he's on his last legs - rather than give the same award to all four.

Its not much of a secret that there is a sense of competition between them all in their various accomplishments.

terry jones should be knighted just for the song "traffic lights". for "i'm so worried", he should probably be crowned as the king of britain.

Terry Jones should be knighted for playing so many unbearable mother characters. LOL!

I'm sorry, I can't think of anyone being knighted without remembering an British Comedy from 1966 called the Wrong Box.

There is a scene in it where Queen Victoria is supposed to be knighting someone. She does her thing with the sword. Suddenly the man falls to the floor, she looks over and says "We are very sorry, Sir Robert."

Queen Elizabeth is getting up there. Kinda scary to miss with a sword.

"The Wrong Box" with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, not an entirely successful movie but it has some wonderful moments. See it if you haven't done so before. All the Pythons have acknowledged their debt to Peter Cook.
