Re: Tattoos by the fugitive on 20 July 2006 4:06pm

I've been away from this site for a while - to add my opinion - Ladies who get a tattoo should think about later years - is it somewhere that it can be easily hidden? there are many women out there with toned bodies well in to their 50's and 60's tattoos look well on them provided it's a feminine tattoo. Gentlemen well, wherever you like! I know a girl who has tweetie pie on her right breast - it makes me think what it'll be like in 40 years time. As for me, I have 2, the first I got some years ago my ex partner wanted one so we got a bird each - NO NAMES unless your children's! The second is more recent less than 2 weeks old - I found a tattoo portrait artist from Brazil and he has put a portrait of my mate who died suddenly a few weeks ago on my back - great likeness, where ever I go, so will he.

That's the best reason for a tattoo I've ever heard, fugitive. Again, sympathies on the loss of your friend.

fugitive, you're funny! I think you may have been raised by some chauvanistic people and you haven't taken the time to rethink things yet.

We females have no more or less of an obligation to society to keep ourselves up than men do! And women don't have any special obligation to remain "feminine," nor do any men have any special obligation to remain "masculine."

We're all doing our own thing, baby! Groovy!

"Ladies who get a tattoo should think about later years - is it somewhere that it can be easily hidden? "

OMG. Do you want us to wear bathing costumes that don't reveal above the ankles or below the neck too??

The best tatto I ever observed was on this ex sailor in Guyana. It showed the fox and hounds with the huntsmen horses and hounds from his right shoulder all the way around his body ending with foxes tail disappearing between the cheeks of his butt. Now theres one for the senior citizens
