Info on Rhodes by Blairhoyle on 24 May 2007 1:34pm

Easy to get to Turkey (Marmaris). And you can go north to other islands, or west to Crete. There are lots of other boats. You'll be better off going there and booking your ferry trips only a day or two in advance. Often the boats are delayed by windy weather.

There are regular ferries (daily) but it is an overnight sail of 15 to 19 hours, depending on the boat chosen. I've been to Rhodes and Athens but did,nt sail between them. The flight is about 45 mins.
