What an Anniversary! by tucsonmike on 30 July 2007 4:12am

Elaine and I went to Macaroni Grill. We got the waitress who is a singer. We got opera with our dessert (which was free).
Then, we came home after the bookstore and found, a strange truck and three Tucson Police Officers with a police car and a crime scene truck!

Turns out, the truck was stolen five days earlier by professional car thieves and the police think they ditched the truck in our driveway, because no one was there.

Poor Yerbie was outraged. All these people and vehicles on HIS territory. It was funny to watch.

Yerbie the Wondercat steals the show again !
Glad you had a good day Mike, but just own up to the truck.

ROFL Johnny. I tried to own up, but my fingerprints were not on the truck.

Glad you managed to get out there & Celebrate, Mike...weird coming home, though! I wonder if the police will ever find who dumped the truck. Still raining?
-And I hope Yerbie wasn't upset. You said somewhere else he likes people, I hope the police were nice to him!

It is raining a little less, but still coming down. The police have a lead on one suspect, who is a career car thief. Tucson is number 2 in the United States for car theft. The police got a kick out of Yerbie. The truck was stolen last Tuesday. I feel badly for the woman who owns it. Her kids birth certificates were in it (so she could register them for school) and they were taken.

Yes, that is a shame about birth certificates, etc. I bet she wasn't insured for their loss & they will cost to replace (insurance is on my mind just now with floods & damages to homes, etc. Your donations will help an awful lot of non-insured people)

Wow, sounds like a wonderful anniversary...up until the police thing, lol. Congrats again! :)

Thank you, but for us, it was more strange than anything else.

Not even a bother. (Except to Yerbie, who felt people were just so abusive and making it hard to do his duty).

I bet you have been in a few 'hot' cars in your N.Y. days Mike. :)
