Reliving Ones Childhood. by tucsonmike on 13 August 2007 1:57am

How does one do that? Elaine tells me it is when I play softball. (She came out to our scrimmage game this morning).
I then did a reading for my Advanced Toastmasters Group. Still trying to stay young @ 50. Oh, but catching is a tough position when you are 50...

The influence of tucsonmike has diminished to the point whereby people are ignoring him.

I am too young to relive the sixties Ellerd. I leave that to watching AbFab.

Did you ever spend time at a beach when you were young, Mike? Do what I did recently, paddle in the sea, stick your ankles deep into the sand while you're paddling- a hefty kick of childhood memory there, believe me.

Sure did, Coney Island, Rockaway Beach, etc.

Coney island! I thought it was one giant amusement arcade, obviously real beaches there too. Can you be quiet or alone there, then?

On parts of Coney Island Beach, it is quiet. Most of the amusements are gone. I'd go further East on Long Island to Fire Island for privacy.

Anne, Mike is a one-man mine of information and my guide to all things American, aren't you Mike? Quiet? You & I could give him a run for his money there...
