Great-Nanna-to-be Spursfan by Spursfan on 19 December 2007 8:42pm
Well I can't find the original post I put the news on that my eldest granddaughter is expecting a baby (on my birthday) in April so I started a new one!!!

She has phoned tonight and told me that she is expecting a girl which, hopefully all going well, they are calling Bethany.

She doesn't know about a middle name, maybe Marie, maybe not.

I am still slightly shell-shocked about becoming a gt nan at 54. And our daughter will be a nan at 35 (I was a nan at 37).

Congrats! April? Aries or Taurus?

My goodness, you certainly have kids young in your family! I didn't make my mother a grandmother until she was 77 (though my brother had already done it 16 years earlier).

Congratulations, and wishes for health to the mom-to-be.

I am a Taurus, so presume she will be too!

Mum-to-be and Great-Grandad-to-be are both Aries. Oh and so is Grandad-to-be on Mum-to-be's side but he doesn't count because he is a *$%**&&^%& !!!!

Our granddaughter Sophie rang last night to say she had been for her 20 week check up and the doctors now say she is due on 7th May - so no special birthday present for me, then!!

Oh well, as long as the baby is healthy.

Sophie said she had been in bed for the last 3 weeks with a bug. [That's not a very nice thing for her to call her boyfriend, is it?!! lol No I mustn't be nasty about him, I haven't met him yet (though I have only heard bad things from our ex son-in-law (Sophie's dad) and her bro, we have to give him the benefit).] No I mean she's been in bed ill for the past 3 weeks.

More updates as I get them.
