I just got the first one of the year. Maybe I am ungrateful but is there a crapper way to send a Christmas card? I think not!!!!! It takes no effort you don't need to even get out of your chair!!! Bah humbug. (It wasn't from anyone here by the way lol) |

And how cheap can you be? I think they are usually clever and cute, but they are no substitute for the effort and personal touch of something in the post.. |

I think there are some legit circumstances. Someone has moved and you don't have their new snail-mail yet. Or you have an e-relatonship, such as US, for example! If I wanted to send an individual greeting to one of you, I would send an e-card, because I know that I'm a 43-yr-old wife and mother, but YOU don't know that, and may not want to give me your snail-mail! Also, it's Dec. 24, you forgot someone at the office and you've run out of cards. There is always one of those! |

My post about How Angels Came To Top Christmas Trees WAS my greeting. I just don't do holidays--too many of the ones I've had with my family have been material for Jerry Springer rather than Norman Rockwell; Mr.Teabag is of a faith that doesn't do Christmas. So I gave up. |

Well to be honest this site used to have ecards (bring em back!) and I am guilty of sending several dozen.
But I don't know, Christmas is different somehow. I don't even mind birthday ecards! I really can't explain it, I guess I just like the room filled with actual cards at Xmas. |

I've always thought 'receiving' an e-card only added to the spam I got. This is just my thought and not based on any scientific before-after comparison. So I don't 'open' them.

I know what you mean, Clagster. You want something tangible on your mantlepiece at Christmas time, don't you? :) |

Tangerine? Well yes but I much prefer stone fruits. |

Can't do email properly - yes, do like the concept of something tangible. We usually have a decision-making where we pick the Worst and Best card, how sad is that? |
