I don't usually get caught up in a story like this, but...

So for me, this begs the question:
How much of our lives is fate? Predestined? And then how much is the result of our free will and our decisions?

I believe in both. I believe that FREE WILL is what you are supposed to be exercising in the space between those predestined events which happen TO you. This tears my brain apart...

I don't think anything is predestined for individuals personally. But it's fascinating when you think about it.

I saw a talk by a famous brain scientist who said that there is actually no 'free will' as such.. but we do stuff cos it's just in our nature.. and that 'we' as in each of us are actually just a huge 'community' of cells..

In other words, your body 'decides' to do something, but you just have the impression that your 'mind' is sitting up there like a driver or something when it's not actually the case..

In other words, you're not on this forum because you've chosen to be here, but because it's in your nature to be here..

oooohhh... mysterious ain't it ;)
