DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD!! by canaveralgumby on 20 January 2009 5:55pm

It's not exactly right for the end of Bush's presidency, but it most accurately and viscerally reflects my feelings.

Cori, do you want me to sing harmony on that? :) I feel safe right now for the first time since 9.10.01.

Me too, Mrs. Teabag! When everyone was chanting, "O-BA-MA!", I was cheering, "IT'S O-VER!" I couldn't stop saying it!

Oh, and Patty will be happy to know that just about everyone at the library gathering sang the national anthem with gusto!

I am overwhelmed with joy at the end of the Bush era. But I am also overwhelmed with gratitude at the resiliency of the U.S. Constitution which constrained even the evil Cheney and his Texan minion from doing anything to hamper the exchange of power. Our Founding Fathers (and the Mothers nagging them) live!

HAHAHA, I'm glad, Judy. It was "born" here, as you know.
