Over the moon:) by kazzzz on 27 January 2009 7:30am

Last night I was playing Queen and Ava started singing We Will Rock YOU!! She got the "we will we will bit right", the rest was a bit garbled then she went "shh shh shh" for the clapping bit:)
She wasn't born on Freddie's birthday for nuthin' ;)

This is what inspired her little singsong by the way...

Pats would you like to hear my "when I met Brian May" story again?

Congratulations, Kazzzz! Good for you, Ava! Have a creme egg! ;-)

I have a niece who will be 4 in a couple of weeks, and about 6 months ago, she heard Alicia Keys' "No One", and she went around for a long time dancing and singing, "No one! No one! No-o-o-o-o one!" It was so cute--she'd assemble us all at family gatherings, "Guys! Guys! Everybody sit down, I'm going to sing for you." She's just a peanut--about as tall as a 2 year old, so it's even funnier and cuter. I bought her a little "rocker girl" outfit and a plastic electric "guitar" for Christmas. She didn't seem too interested in them, but it was a crazy party.

Absolutely, I've been holding my breath for ages. Not only THAT, but many people here haven't yet hear it told twenty million times. Go ahead, I'll hold my ears! HAHAHAHA

Kaz, I knew Ava wouldn't disappoint you. I even jokingly suggested you name her Fredericka. lol And look, born right on Freddie's b'day too. Little "Freddie"..... You go, Ava. Hope you catch her on video, Kaz.

Was that you Kaz, being dragged off the stage?

If Queen ever need a new singer... :) And if you have met Brian May, getting Ava in the band shouldn't be a problem!

I suppose 'Queen' fans must be almost as wacko as WackoJacko fans? 'Freddie Mercury' was 6 times more flamboyant than Liberace.
Did you really get to meet BM? In what circumstances, may I ask?

Well, come on, Kaz. Don't pass up this opportunity to toot your horn!!!!!! Tell them! Ya know I'm dying to hear all over a gain, for the gazillionth time.

So Petra ( bIG ) you think Queen fans are " whacko " ? Freddie was so 'ace', I could've fancied him myself !
Great link kazzz, I've never seen that one. And oh, bIG, I can't vouch for the fact that kazzzz has ever met Brian May but I have a pic of her eldest daughter posing with him !

I did yeah:) and Roger Taylor, at the press launch of We Will Rock You in Melbourne ( I got invited through the fan club) Ben Elton was there too. T'was an amazing evening, a definate highlight of my life. Brian told my daughter he liked her hair and she returned the compliment! And yes we have some amazing press photos of my Jess and Brian:)
