Ink mad! by kazzzz on 24 September 2009 3:16pm
My eldest daughter has got herself another tattoo tonight..she now has a butterfly on her neck, a dragonfly with 6 stars on her foot and 19 stars up the side of her torso. She's officially an inkaholic!

I'm not a fan of tattoos. My eldest daughter has several and when we went to Paris in August, we returned to find that our younger girl had got a tattoo on the nape of her neck. Silly girl.

No matter how well-drawn and inked in they are, they don't do a thing for me. I really don't think they are attractive on men OR women. But, to each his own.

I like them :) I think Jess may have a few too many, she may regret them later on, but they do look nice.

They don't do anything for me either - and I just know if I had one I would regret it later and then it is really too late. And I would wimp out at the pain probably!

Our son has football related tattoos on his legs and arms and I quite like them (well not the team (Wolves)!) but I wonder if he'll regret having them when he's older? He hasn't so far and he's 34 now - he had them done in his 20s.

Anyway, I haven't looked at this site much so don't know what it's like but I thought you may be interested Kazzzz on behalf of Jess!!

I think you will all love this story then, If you didn't read about it at the time (sorry about the long link):

Re: Ink mad! by Spursfan on 25 September 2009 11:06pm
If you go on a link halfway down or so she has admitted she was lying.

In a weird way she looks ok (though I wouldn't want it myself). Can you imagine her at 40 or 60 though?!! NOW it sort of looks cute but when she is older .... but HE looks a total freak!!!

Sorry if I have offended anyone but I ask you!! What DOES he look like! Who REALLY thinks that is a good look?!!

Someone could make a fortune if they could come up with a tattoo that would last as long as you want, yet could be easily removed if you so chose.
* Puts thinking cap on * Eureka ! I'll be on Dragon's Den soon. :)

Personally I think that later this century there will so many 'custom mods' for your body that the tattoos we know and love will seem very old fashioned..

"You mean your tattoo doesn't glow in the dark! Really, you are soooo old-school.."
Re: Ink mad! by Spursfan on 26 September 2009 10:25am
A tattoo that moved (I mean independent to muscle/skin movement) AND glowed in the dark would be excellent if it could be removed like Johnny says!

Similar to photographs in Harry Potter.

Or would that be TOO creepy?!
