3.50 to see Michael in London, and Amaia would have to pay 111 pounds to see John Cleese in Norway? That's QUITE a difference! Doesn't seem right, really. |

Kaz, I don't want to sound immodest, but I paid much more than 111 GBP this June to see dear Michael, and only 25 GBP to see John in June as well, so... |

Did you?!? What was the event? Missy and I saw Michael a couple of years back, a lecture and a 2 course lunch with wine and a book signing and that cost us about the equivalent of 30 pounds! |

£ 111 ? I wouldn't pay that to see ANYONE. Are you one of those Russian oligarchs we hear so much about Kisch ? :) |

Oh, I bet they were, Kaz. I loved that group. I saw Michael and Basil do a slide show/lecture and booksigning and it was FREE! That was about 2 1/2 hours or so.
Your 30 pounds for all you and Missy got, Kaz, was a good deal indeed! |

Johhny, I wish I was... well, not really. Big money = big problems. I'm better off without anything;)
Kaz, it was this June, a fundraiser for Medical Foundation. I met Michael and spoke to him and got a hug and stuff. Was worth every penny. And a good cause. Charity rules.

Kazzzz - I saw Fleetwood Mac at Stafford Art College in about 1967 or 1968. They were then called Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and were a blues band. They were fantastic - I was about 13 or 14 so it can't have cost much.
I always feel that they have sold out their roots in later 'life', as they are/were nothing like their original sound. My favourite track is Need Your Love So Bad.
On an amusing note, I bought the Mr Wonderful album and much later, when married, our kids were convinced the pic of Mick Fleetwood (as pictured on the album cover below) was one of our friends!! Not that they ever saw him with his shirt off! I mean facially.
