Changing the subject slightly from Mr Palin,It would be very interesting to know what the last CD/Book/DVD(not Palin related)that you bought..The last book that I bought was Hound Of The Baskervilles/Arthur Conan Doyle for 99p(Great Bargain)..Ive always liked this film,so I thought Id give the book a go,plus a few people had reccomended it to me..The last DVD that I bought was Notes From A Small Island...Bill Bryson,Iloved the book but alas Billy Boy is not very good infront of the camera,The Great Man cant be good at everything..The last CDs that I bought(I bought 2 together on Saturday) were Evolution..The Hits by the 80s band Dead Or Alive(you remember them, they sung that classic song You Spin Me Round Like A Record)..And also I bought the CD called Reprise by the Opera singer Russell Watson(what a wonderfull voice the man has got)...As you can see Ive got a very wide taste in music...David..

The Last book I bought was a Michael book actully! But before that I bought The Road To Mars by Eric Idle. I'm a big Eric fan, and I always ment to find more solo stuff from him, and so I finally lived up to that promace by buying that book. It's quite funny, and it even told me a little about Eric himself. I also happen to be reading The Hound Of The Baskervilles for English. I find Sherlock Holmes to be a very intriging character.

The last CD I bought was Revolver by The Beatles. I was listening to it earlier today too. It's the best Beatles album Pre Sgt. Peppers in my opinion...

Good Thread Man :)

My last book was The Star's Tennis Balls by Stephen Fry, last DVD was A Fish Called Wanda (I don't have many and most of them are Michael related anyway :p ), and last CD was Oceanborn by Nightwish, a Finnish metal band with an opera singer. Interesting...

The last cds I bought was Coldplay's "Rush of Blood to the Head" and Madonna's "American Life". Last book I bought was The Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield, which is very interesting and great reading. The last DVD I bought was either "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" or "The Missionary". Both were great!

I haven't bought a CD in so long, I don't remember. The last DVD I bought was the MPFC DVD set, but non-Python DVD was "American Beauty." And the last book I bought was "The Rasputin Files" by Edvard Radzinsky, because I love biographies and am fascinated with Early 20th century Russian history (and Rasputin is creepy). OH wait! I bought a book today, duh! "The Real Lincoln," a book dismissing Abraham Lincoln as a saintly man, and more of a politician with an agenda. I can't wait to read it. I'm a history nerd!

Hmm, I don't buy many of any of those these days, but my most recent purchases were:

Book: I haven't bought one for ages!! I borrow them all from work. Since reading Tim Winton's "Dirt Music", I'm thinking it was a "keeper" so I might buy it soon.

CD: Elton John's Greatest Hits 1970-2002 Love Elton and this is such a good double CD.

DVD: I have only bought one as I don't have a DVD player yet but I had to have "Dirty Deeds" - an Australian movie starring Bryan Brown, Toni Collette, John Goodman and Sam Neill. Fantastic film.

Cheers
Kath

Hmmm... last book that I bought was a Michael one! I think before that I bought 'wuthering heights'. Last CD was a double disc 60's compilation - 'simply the best 60's' or something. Last DVD's I got were 'a fish called wanda' and 'dirty dancing'.
Kath - I want that Elton John CD!! I'll have to invest in a copy when I finally get some money I can spend on myself! :p
