My Father's Favourite Movie, AKA Respect, and Learning It by notquitenglish on 14 June 2003 10:29pm

I love old movies (most of you probably know that by now) but when I asked my dad what his fav. movie was and he said 'Lawrence of Arabia', I panicked. And choked, and gagged, and other things.
But then, so does the rest of my family if it's brought up.
But I've only recently come to an appreciation of Peter O'Toole, and decided I'd better watch 'Lawrence' if only to understand what everyone dislikes about it.
So I did.
And I *like* it.

Lawrence of Arabia is one of my favourite films too! If you ever get the opportunity, you should see it in 70mm at the cinema. Absolutely fantastic!

Cheers,
Michelle :)

Lawrence of Arabia is really cool :)
