The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Kind People by Loretto on 5 June 2013 1:14pm
I went into Book Expo of America on Saturday, and came home with loads, and loads of books. While I was at the expo, I got chatting to a man who represented Guilford Publications Inc. He was showing a lot of educational and self-help books. One was titled, Getting Children Organized, and I mentioned that I had a teen, so the book was not age appropriate in that it was dealing with younger children's organizational skills. He asked for my card and lo and behold a book titled Smart but Scattered Teens arrives in the mail yesterday! Never paid for it, he just sent it. I thought that was very kind, there are still some kind people in the world :-)

I had a problem with a bookseller when my wife accidentally used my online account to make a purchase. He sent her the book free and refunded my money. As far as I can remember my wife's rating wasn't affected by the incident.
