Who's gotten a letter back from Michael? by nottlob on 9 November 2002 7:52am

I was just wondering, I know it won't exactly BE him but I read someone got a picture of him??? I'd really like a picture! Where do you write to? Is this right?

So who's gotten a reply? I'm such a crazy MP fan now, and I'm a new one too, lol. It started about half a year ago with Python and Michael because he's my fav Python. By the way I'm 15, haha. Then I got more interested in his work like "The Missionary" (Which is great! I totally recommend it to everyone! I want to see the movie though, I only read the book. Maggie Smith, awesome.) Then I read Ripping Yarns, Hemingway's Chair, Pole to Pole, Hemingway's Adventure, and Full Circle. I haven't read 80 Days Around the World because I have to get it from the library and it's still out but MP got me into Hemingway. The Sahara book isn't out in Canada, ahh!!! I NEED TO READ IT! I also watched 80 Days, and half of Pole to Pole because there's video #4 but no #3 and I don't want to watch the ending without watching #3 first, you know what I mean? I also need to watch Hemingway Adventure, Full Circle and Sahara!!! Thanks for making me read alot again Michael!

Good question--- i would like to know this too. I got a different address, though... I sent a letter a while ago (2 months?) and asked him as a COMPLETE shot in the dark if I could interview him on my pet care radio program. He's a cat lover, you know.
I think some of our greatest minds/talents loved cats-- Hemingway, Bradbury, Burroughs...
I want to read hemingway's chair-- How did you like it?

Full Circle and Hemingway Adventure will cement your MP devotion forever. They are my faves.
Amazing brilliant stuff. Get your hands on them now.

Yeah, doesn't he have 2 cats? I really enjoyed reading Hemingway's Chair! I read, I think in a book by Howard Johnson? that he wanted to spend another 4 or 6 months on the book but he didn't get the chance or something...sorry, I read the book months ago. I think he could have spent a little bit more time on the book to polish it up but other than that it's great! A very interesting reading. Get it from the library or something!

I wonder how Michael can go on so many trips so far away from family? Maybe he'll take a trip with Helen soon, lol!

They sound cute Helen :-}

We have two lovely mogs - Doozy ( boy) and Chloe.
Doozy always gets very protective when I'm pregnant and won't let me out of his sight. He meows pitifully until I re appear ! We always know when one of our daughters are sick because either one of the cats holds a vigil at the end of their bed until the morning. :-}}}
Chloe doesn't like me working at my desk and jumps up and trys to re arrange the papers I'm writing on or attempts to nab my pen with her paw!!

El*r~oooo=n (0ops, Chloe walked on the keyboard as I was typing, honestly, she wants her breakfast!!)

And who said cats are aloof and independent! my cats are always looking for me, demanding something of me, and protecting me. right now, my siamese is howling for something. Food? Playtime? Invisible martians? who knows. must go check.
Aren't felines just the greatest?
