What would you say to Michael if you met him at one of his book signings?? by paloma on 16 November 2002 7:20pm

I know some of you have already had the opportunity to meet MP, shake hands with him and even kiss him (eh? Lyn...), but for those who haven´t....what would you tell him?
As for me, I would be so overwhelmed that I´m sure I wouldn´t be able to articulate a word! I´d probably blush and a persistent & psycopath smile would appear on my face :-P
Anyway, if you fail to make your 30 secs dissertation on how muuuuch you like his travel series, his books, his everything, you always have the option left to mumble "splunge!!" or something silly :-)
Now getting serious for a moment, I guess I would only tell him he makes me feel really happy *sigh*
Cheers,
Paloma.

I'd ask him to fix the bloody knocking noise on the crank of my bike (Him being the "Bicycle Repair Man") :p

I would ask him to confuse my cat.

Haha, nice one jazzbasser. I'd take a deep breath and say "Hi Michael I'm such a big and I've tried to read and watch everything you've ever wrote or been in and I love you so much and you've been such an idol and I enjoy your work so much and I hope you keep it up. Can I have a hug?" Hehe.

I'd be happy if I'm able to put more than two words together. I'd be happy to be able to say "hello". :-) I can see myself blushing . . what I would say after "hello" is another matter. Perhaps I could pinch Ellen's cue cards idea. :-)

Jazzbasser, Michael doesn't look like a handyman, however 'bycicle repairman' he is ;-)

And yep, Dianne, Ellen's cue cards idea was great hehe.
