Amusing Quote by Rusted on 16 December 2002 8:10am

I'm sure most of you have read this, but I'm making my way through the book "Monty Python Speaks", and I found this quote of Carol Cleveland's to be slightly amusing and also very sweet:

"And as for Michael, well, Michael has never changed. He's the one that's never changed at all, and he remains the same charming, shy, sweet, helpful person that he is, and he is of course the only one who's actually quite shy, and that's very appealing, which is why all the women *adore* Michael. He was always the ladies' favorite."

What? I have no idea what she means... Could there be some truth to this? ;O)

and if you have seen "Life of Python," Carol tells the story of a woman who ran up to Michael and fainted in his arms (I believe it was at the Hollywood Bowl). Michael stood there, just holding her, looking dumbstruck as if to say "what do I do?"
Just don't know why that happens! :)
heehheeee titter giggle

Actually, I wouldn't mind fainting in M's arms (or at least to feint fainting if you know what I mean).

Not that I would be underhand or devious at all you realise.....!!

hmmm.... perhaps even a bit of mouth to mouth rescuscitation would be called for???

ooh err. I'm coming over a bit funny! swoon !! Michael, catch me......!!!

heee hee

we are all so naughty... :)

Re: Amusing Quote by JenJen on 16 December 2002 9:17pm

ah. We're only so naughty because michael's so squeeaky cleeeean. But even though he's a choc addict, I could live with that (as long as he's willing to share.... the chocolate that is!)
:-)

Ahaha! You guys are so funny, imagine Michael reading this, thinking "oy!"

Re: Amusing Quote by Kristine on 17 December 2002 5:00am

I don't know about the shyness... But the rest of that quote is dead on! Ha ha! She fainted in his arms you say? Blimmy! If he had a better singing voice(Not that he has a bad one btw) and could play guitar he'd have the makings of a 5th Beatle! I'm sure he's made a few ladies scream their heads off or swoon during a performance in his time! LOL!

LOL, thanks for keeping me entertained, gals. I figured it'd get a reaction out of you. ;O)

Helen, I remember that story from "Life of Python", and I still have to chuckle...

ROFL, nottlob! I'd imagine he might be a little worried about us, but then again, I've been a little worried about him at times. (Wasn't it in P2P or 80 Days when he mentioned how something he was going to do wasn't really that crazy in comparison to some of the things he'd done in Python?) ;O)
