Confused, upset, sick!!! by MissTrixiB on 4 November 2004 4:35am

Hello All!
MissTrixiB here again - of the 'Chicago 7' (yes, it's been a looooong time). Been very busy with the new house (a fixer-upper), and have been neglecting my duties as a Palinite for a while. I just need to say one thing-
I DIDN'T VOTE FOR HIM! I write to you from a nation divided. Because this is a global chat site, I felt the need to share that there are MANY of us in the States that don't believe in Bush nor his policies. Minnesota voted for Kerry, and at least I can be proud of that.
Things are crazy here, and they're already talking about conspiricies and pay-off's (the fact that they used an electronic voting system in Ohio where there are no paper trails and that the exit polls said the opposite of that actual outcome of the election). My husband and I discussed moving to New Zeland or Canada but decided in the end to 'fight the good fight' and do what we can to make a change for the better from here (where to start? Who knows).
All this and First Ave., my second home, closing it's doors in the last 24 hrs (think 'Purple Rain' and you'll know what I'm talking about), and you'll know that this citizen has had a very bad day!
Please know.....not all of us like, nor want 'him' in charge here.
Happy travels and don't hate us all ;-)
kisses,
trixi

Bless! :-) You can go to bed with a clear conscience then. As for the others, I dont know how they could even contemplate sleeping. We're all writing, quite rightly, with restraint, but I think it's fair to say that the world's utterly ashamed of them.

Happy days........

I think the world would be a much nicer place if Michael was the president of EVERYWHERE....
I live in the UK and not even I can understand how the hell Bush got four more years. Why is it that loads of good decent presidents everywhere get shot to death then when one comes along that you actually want bumped off no-one bothers?!
