Have you heard anything of the possibility of Michael making a stop in Atlanta?

USA: I'm from Maryland, technically a southern state, although the state had divided sympathies during the Civil War!! Currently, the the north thinks we are soughtern, and the south thinks we are northern. We just can't win here!!

Come on over to our side, we're glad to have you! The more, the merrier, that's what I always say.

USA: Hey Tim! I'm a southerner at heart, I guess. My great great grandfather's first cousin was Robert E. Lee. Have never been to Atlanta but traveled the South visiting battlefields and other Civil War sites along the way on a trip I made to New Orleans in 1992 (for the jazz fest).

Any other Civil War enthusiasts out there?

I find the Civil War very interesting, but I suppose it's sort of an occupational hazard, being a History major and all. I've been to quite a few of the forts and battle sites (living down here that accounts for quite a few field trips). By the way, I'm also very much a jazz enthusiast. I'm kind of ashamed I've never made it to New Orleans.

USA: Tim, you really must get to "Nawlins" for the jazz fest. Forget Mardi Gras. Jazz is where it's at!!

On our car trip through the south, driving from Md. , we took the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mt. route, passing through Chattanooga, Chickamauga, Natchez, and heaven knows what other palces. It was great. On the way to Charleston, on another trip, we did Bentonville, and visited Fort Sumter, etc., after arriving. Of course, living in Md., we are so close to all the Virginia sites and have been to Sharpsburg and Gettysburg a million times, too. Have you been north?

By the way, we are being bombarded with a huge blizzard as I "speak". It's to last at least another 36 hours and we are expecting at least 30 inches or more.

We have dear friends who live in Woodstock, Ga. Is that near you?

I'm new to this site, and am also a southern Python fanatic. Also, as luck would have it, I reside about 30 feet away from Quaylemonster. But in regards to the question posed at the beginning of this thread, I know I could come up with several people who would make the short trip to Atlanta to see Michael.
