Little Britain - Sooooo funny!! or not? by Katie J on 30 March 2005 1:12pm

I think Little Britain is fantastic - and Matt Lucas and David Walliams are great. I love Vicky Pollard (especialy on Trisha - the Red Nose Day episode).

I take it as read that most people on this website also enjoy MontyP. - as do I! My favourite film being The Life of Brian...the first time I watched it I was at university and my friend just didn't get why I was practically crying with laughter on the floor!! (I try not to do that too often...).

The Young Ones is also a big fave of mine! I'm not of the right generation to have seen them when they first came out but I saw some repeats years ago and am now trying to buy the first two series! University Challenge between Scumbag College and Footlights College, Cambridge is my favourite!! When Vyvyan rams his foot through the 'floor' of the seating to the 'Toffs' below! Classic.

Thought I'd put in my penny's worth anyway (and start a new fun thread after the recent anamosity!!).

Katie :)

From what I have seen of Little Britain has had me crying with laughter. Dad loves it. Love Monty Python. Always have done.

Little Britain is great!! The Red Nose Day ones were hilarious!
My favourite Python film has to be the Holy Grail. I took it into school to watch in English as we were doing about King Arthur, and i had to stop watching half way through as i was nearly dying!!! I showed my best friend The Life of Brian and she didnt get any of it. I felt so sorry for her!

I do think The Holy Grail is v.v.funny -especially the homocidal rabbit! Oh' AND the French soldiers...chucking animals (and insults) at the Knights!!

This will make you giggle - A quote from The Holy Grail:

Frech Soldier: 'I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food-trough water! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!'

Arthur 'Is there someone else up there we can tak to?'

French Soldier 'No, now go away before I taunt you a second time.'

absolutely hilarious and dare i say it....funnier than Monty Python..pls no hate mail :-) Living near Thetford and visiting it briefly with caution for quick stop in tescos (thetfords mentioned in the 'Crap Towns' Book)..i encounter many 'Vicky Pollards'. Her character is so true to life ...
