Re: LABOUR PARTY by perfectbitch on 20 April 2005 11:05pm
I can't find it in my heart to vote for this man and there's even less room in my heart for either of the other 2 leaders. I shall vote Green
Re: LABOUR PARTY by sarahs on 20 April 2005 11:08pm
But the way I see it, it depends on what's your priority - seats in Parliament, or the actual government. I see voting for Green as a waste of a vote.

I wouldn't vote for yankee doodles poodle if he was the last politician on this planet. I am a member of UKIP and shall vote accordingly.
Re: LABOUR PARTY by JK on 21 April 2005 2:04am
Dont vote. It only encourages them.
Re: LABOUR PARTY by harvey123 on 21 April 2005 9:02am
Call me a fool but This may be seen as wrong by others but i dont vote!! (pls dont hang me)
I've always said that during the election its all promises to get the votes..but once they are elected they never follow through with the 'promises'.IN summary (to me)they are all liars who would just do just a bad job as the others so to me it doesn't matter who wins...

Re: LABOUR PARTY by finnguy on 21 April 2005 9:54am
Careful Sarah! When you put 'xxx' after your comments it could be misconstrued as three votes for Labour! ;)
Re: LABOUR PARTY by Wild in Africa on 21 April 2005 10:47am
No party is perfect and certainly no politician and it is always a matter of compromise.
The Labour party may have let those of us with a more radical agenda down but when it comes to the crunch it's either them or the Tories and there's no way on heaven or earth I could bring myself to vote Conservative. Hence Tony will get my vote again, albeit with reservations.
Re: LABOUR PARTY by Spursfan on 21 April 2005 11:49am
If I can be political here (oh no!!) - I have been Socialist for all my life. The only thing I disagree with the Labour Govt is over prescription charges. I have a chronic illness which is not covered by the prescription charge exemption list, but which needs medication for the rest of my life. There are other illnesses in the same boat, such as Myasthenia Gravis, an awful disease which also needs contant medication. Anyway, the point is that the LibDems have promised to improve this list so as I've been campaigning for this - do I vote for them? Or do I stick to my beliefs?

I agreed with the war (a country led by a despotic tyrant - who cares if he had w of md anyway, he needed to be got rid of) and most of their other policies, but this is an important issue for me.

Sorry - *jumps off soap box and backs away quietly*
