don't take this the wrong way by bsh1878 on 24 April 2005 7:31pm

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think that we get enough of the election on tv and in the press without getting it here as well. It puts one off coming here. At the moment I'd rather go to the other Palin site that I am a member of.

I tend to agree with bsh1878 as UK politics would be of little interest to the worldwide users of palinstravels.

I have to say that I agree with the above comments. I was away from the site over the weekend and now that I've returned I don't like what's been going on.

I think it was an interesting idea of Morse to start the mini-election. Debate is great and is at the heart of democracy but couldn't people please enter into it in a slightly more respectful manner?

It may be a little late in the day for this, but perhaps a better way would be for Webmaster to set up a new poll in the 'Polls' section - that way registered users would have one vote each. We might get a more accurate picture of things without all the mud-slinging.

To be honest, at this stage I really don't know who's a troll and who isn't!

Just my tuppence, as it were.

I agree that we should keep this a non-election site.

Certain people with names like political parties are winding people up.

Lets keep it purely palin party!

There is an easy way to resolve the election problem-take all the party leaders to the lady of the lake and which ever she lobs a sword at becomes PM.
I'm not crazy-its Monty Pythons Holy Grail.
*Seriously*-I agree.PURELY PALIN!!

im alittle guilty of the politics thing myself but i agree its overtaken the board (and it seems we have a troll here also with all the 'No subject' posts) To my dismay The board has been pretty dead over the past few days and i want to see more of the 'Blathering on topics' that used to fill the board..

Bruce...spot on! I'm a litte sick of it too. Sorry guys. I know I said my bit but this constant bickering (that is turning rather nasty) should stop.

What's the saying,..never talk politics or religion..!?!

I really enjoy reading people's comments on this site and think everyone has a valid point...and that they have the right to disagree! But the whole blathering on section is littered with political threads.

If nothing else, it's getting a bit boring! (I imagine especially dull for those who are not from the UK).

Specifically Paul R. ('CONSERVATIVE') I have been reading your posts and am finding them rather over bearing. This is not a good way to get your party elected, in fact it is putting me off them. Kindly stop the excessive posting and let people make their minds up in peace. I am surprised that a Local Councillor is so openly aggressive in his tactics.

As long as they all faced the lake, PJ. There's enough 'back-stabbing' going on already, lol!
