I have to agree, it is boring. Then again I guess it depends on the individual as some people take a great interest in it. But I don't like all this political talk in the Chatter Box. It's on the radio, the TV, in the papers, on billboards in the street....can't we leave it out of the forum?!

Sky, I agree with you. Enough is enough. There is one major troll on this site already who is using it to canvass for his political party. Suggest we all ignore him now and he will go away eventually as all other trolls will and after May 5th will have another 4 years to brood sulkily in his troll cave.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Please stop this boring intrusion of politics into such a pleasant site. It's so tedious and nothing changes in any real terms. Please lets just leave it alone.

I agree as well. This site is not the place for Politics. There are other sites around if anyone wants to talk politics.

B O R I N G ... I agree!

Especially Mr CONSERVATIVE - not because of your party - but because of your attitude! I've just noticed how much you've been posting on the site and it's unbelievable! I wonder what the Conservative Central Office would make of your activities (I do not believe they endorse being an overbearing bully!). In fact due to your position, and yes I have noted who you are (Mr Paul R.) and what you do (in Havering Council) I think you are treading a thin line! Kindly cease the ranting and go away and annoy people that want to talk politics with you.

Cheers, Katie

Katie...as my friend Homer might say, "Woohoo"!!
Sure if not Conservative central office, then elements of the popular press would be very interested to hear of the childish tactics of Mr C.
Let's keep eyes and ears open and see if he wants to walk right into this one. Sure his party would really thank him for that.
Otherwise we hope he has gone away and left us to chat about travel and other more interesting topics.

Yes Bruce, I am sure he is very nice. I too like people who make me fall asleep.

The 'real' bruce (who i've had the pleasure to chat to on a few occasions) is bsh1878 not bsh1879....so whoever you are give it a rest. I am right about Paul and drawing attention to his constant postings is not bullying (and importantly his position as a councillor - that he mentioned!) - it's called the right of reply!! clearly you can't take it when someone stands up to you 'lot'!!

I'm sure that there are quite a few people who agree with my opinion.

Nuff' said...

I agree with Katie and especially with the title of this thread. Why talk about topics like Politics when there are so many far more interesting subjects of discussion in abundance such as Michael's work. Even the weather would be more of a thrill than the activities of the tories (Although if anyone resorts to it as a subject of discussion I shall personally hunt you down and destroy your internet cable!)
